Cups & Co is still a small, but very passionate one-woman business. The shop is driven by passion and fascination for antiques, this interest already started since my childhood. Moreover, I bought my first antique object with my allowance at the age of 8 years, instead of saving it. One of the first items was a 19th century white and blue china bone cup, hence the business name 'Cups & Co'.
This passion was so strong, it led to buying and selling antiques since 2014. I am daily 'sunken' in this world with my heart and soul, just to ensure a future for the things of the past. I love saving those things, that are broken or hidden in a corner.
In my shop you will find a large diversity of items. You will discover a wide range of early 19th century items to cosy vintage objects in stock. Nevertheless, my field of expertise lies more in continental antiques from the end of 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. Furthermore, the collection is frequently being added to with new stock from international markets.
In addition, my father and I are official certified furniture restorers. Every single piece, that enters the shop, is completely being inspected and finished with wax, French polish, or varnish.
Lastly, I would like to thank my dad for his everlasting support. Without him my dream would have never become reality. As well as for my colleague, Michel, for taking me under his wing during the first year. Thanks a million!
